This is a relatively easy problem to fix. Try putting a thin layer of white eyeliner on the tear line (bottom) and on the inside corner of your eyes. That should open them up. You can also try using an eyelash curler.





There are excellent videos on youtube from Michelle Phan. I think she will really be able to show you some good methods. All of her videos are great, but heres one of them that I think would be most helpful:

Try almay 16 hour eyeliner pencils. They are easy to smudge up with a Q-tip and make a smokey look. And the look stays for the whole day and more. Do this to the upper eye lid only, instead of a shadow.


You can also wear black eyeliner on the INSIDE of both top and bottom lids before going to bed and in the morning wipe off the excess smudged up part. Then apply the white liner in the inside of your lower lid only. (This way the black liner gets into the line of the eyelashes) This trick of white/black combo make eyes pop.
Wearing dark shadow makes your eyes look bigger,I find.Put dark shadow on the out corners of your eyes,where your eyelid crease is.





You could also draw a strip of black eyeliner on your top lid and extend it so it flicks out the corner of your eyes.Line inner eyes with white liner so they pop.
concentrate on wearing eyeliner on ur top lid rather than your bottom. it makes a huge difference.
line the inside of your bottom lids with a white eyeliner. i saw this trick on the Tyra show one time. it makes them pop!!
