if you have fair skin, use brown eyeliner and shadow instead of black. the look is similar but a lot more subtle. also revlon makes this new eyeliner called bedroom eyes that's pretty thick - you can use it for shadow and liner. just rim your upper and lower lids with a thick eyeliner and use a lighter accent color on your brow bone (below your eyebrow). good luck.How can i do my eye makeup like this [ see pic] and NOT look like i have two black eyes, or like a racoon??
There is this thing called a smudger. (I think thats what its called) that are on the back of some eyeliners. Make a thin line under your eyelid and use either the smudger or a q-tip to smude the eyeliner.
First, use a black liner to line your eyes, then smudge it with a q-tip. Next, using a black cream shadow, apply it to the bottom and tops of your lids. Smudge it too. If it looks zombie-like, remove some with vaseline or eye makeup remover. Then, finish it up with a black eyeshadow. If black is too much if you have fair skin, try a deep brown instead.
use a smoky black or brown color.


just dont apply it too thick.

when ever I use an eye liner I ALWAYS use the same shade as my skin tone for eye shadows and I just dab under the ye lids. It never hurts my eyes or gets in the eyes. Then I apply my smudge proof eye liner and right over the eye liner I apply the same shade of eye shadow as my eye liner like black eye liner then black eye shadow. Try it it will diffintely help you. The eye shadow give the eye liner something to grab onto so it wont bleed when you sweat or you oils to cause it to bleed under the eyes
