If get colored contacts the same color as one of my eyes will it make it look darker?

ive been wearing clear contacts for a while but my vision has gotten worse so i need new contacts and i wanted to get colored





but i have a blue eye and a brown eye; and like i was just wondering that if i got brown colored contacts would it make my brown eye look darker since its brown going over brown?





or is there anyway i could order one clear contact and one colored contact?If get colored contacts the same color as one of my eyes will it make it look darker?
you can order one box of green and one box of brown


that way you have both


im sure you can do that if you explain to your optomitrist


and about the brown contact on top of brown eyes the brown would look dark compared to the brown on top of blue....but maybe thats better because the brown contact wont look exactly like your eye color and it'd look weird.

you could probably get one clear and one colored it doesnt seem like that would be an issue at all.
