How to make my eyes look nicer with mascara?

Make sure you use a good brand. All the department store brands are better than what you can get at the grocery store or pharmacy. Also, the good thing about department store makeup counters is that you can try the product first to make sure it looks natural. Black works for most people, but if you have medium brown hair or lighter, then you need to get one specifically for your color. I like Prescriptives mascara. It gives me volume without looking fake.

To thicken lashes, put the mascara on with the brush perpendicular to your lashes. To lengthen the lashes, turn the brush so that it's parallel to your lashes (pointing at your eye) and put mascara on that way. Don't blink for 3 seconds, then blink lightly to transfer some of the mascara to your bottom lashes. Never lengthen your bottom lashes, just lightly apply mascara to them if needed.

I use an eye lash curler first and then put on mascara. Try not to make it look clumpy and make sure you try to focus on the end of your lashes....it will make it look longer...:D
I just found out from a friend that you can take the tip of the mascara brush and put it on that way it will help keep it from being clumpy and also help make your eyes stand out more. Also i tried it and it worked good.

put on the mascara but dont make it look clumpy but put on a good bit so they look full....but try to make them as long as possible...everyones eyes look good that way. repeat for the bottom to :]
dont use too much you dont want to have spider lashes (real thick clump lashes) the best drug-store mascara i've ever used is maybeline full and soft. it seperates great and give you long thick lashes I LOVE IT!
You put mascara on... ask someone to show you how. But make sure it's fresh mascara and not clumpy and has a brush first.
Use Covergirl No Clump Volume Exact. It works the best and isnt clumpy. Get it in black for a bolder look but if you want a softer look go for brown.
just put it on. and it will work by itself.

Oh gurl! Let me tell you! I love, love, love mascara and I have tried millions! Go get yourself Clinique High Impact mascara in the green tube. Write this down and memorize it like it was you Bible!!!---#1 Use an eyelash curler #2 Apply mascara starting at the base of the lashes and pulling up in a zig-zag motion (once you get the hang of applying try putting a bit on the top side too) #3 VERY IMPORTANT! Buy an eyelash comb, (Sonia Kashuk is the best I've found because its not plastic and seperates lashes like a dream) use this to seperate and even out the mascara after application. #4 I know this sounds silly but...Blow on your lashes as your combing them this way they will dry in place and you don't have to mess with them again during the day.
